Strategic Partnerships | (funders)
In
2002, the JAJCF facilitated a highly-inclusive
planning process with Court leadership and a broad
cross-section of community stakeholders to develop
a shared vision for the Court and a strategic
plan for achieving that vision. In total, more
than 70 community agency representatives, parents,
and children were involved, joining over 30 court
personnel. By involving these varied stakeholders
in the planning and subsequent implementation
stages, the JAJCF has helped move beyond finger-pointing
to create a sense of collective responsibility
among the Court, our other major public systems,
and the communities they serve, for meeting the
needs of the 30,000 children and families who
come through the Courts doors annually.
